The Halo 2 Debacle continues.

This is quickly turning into a "Fuck You" post from a "Gaming" post.

The Halo 2 disc, although having a pretty obvious defect, managed to play just fine in the Xbox at Gamestop. They exchanged it anyway. They said I may have to buy a new Xbox because it may not be compatible with the older Xboxes because Microsoft "changed around their encryption scheme," or something to that effect.

What the fuck?

If this disc doesn't work tonight and I have to end up buying an Xbox (to replace my old, but perfectly functioning one), I'm going to be so uber pissed. Words will not be able to express it (but you best believe I'll be posting about it here).
