Linksys BEFCMU10 Update

Just an update, I finally received the new V3 version of the BEFCMU10 modem, and it works brilliantly. I was able to initiate a dozen FTP transfers to my web server (a situation where a single one peaking at about 100Kb/s would cause a crash) and it's been rock solid. In fact, it hasn't had to be power-cycled once.

So, to revise my original post, stay far, far away from the BEFCMU10 V2 (it says on the side of the box what version it is), but the V3 is good. I hear the V1 is good, too, but I haven't used it.
