Finally found a Pump in the area..

So, there's a bowling alley semi-close to me (about 3/4 of the way to Illusionz) that has a PIU. Going on a tip that there was this supposed Pump in existence nearby, I decided to check it out this afternoon. Here's the scoop.

While nowhere near as bad as the one at Kenmore Lanes, it's pretty ghetto. It's a typical Extra mix with the OBG banner combination that I'm so used to. But, hey, it's an Extra mix, and Extra mix owns. There's insane burn-in on the screen, but it's not so bad that you can't see the arrows. It's pretty awful, though. The pads are semi-responsive, but better than anything at IZ. Volume's decent. It's rip-off city with $0.75 per game. Very ghetto, but at least functional.

But, hey, it's good to know there's at least a working Extra Mix nearby.. now if only they'd fix the screen, and shave a quarter or two off the price, I'd so be there like, every day.

For those that are wondering it was the AMF Sun Villa Lanes on SE 148th St near BCC. There were a bunch of other shitty refugee arcade games around there in crappy shape, so if you're looking to play some Cruisin' USA or every crappy gun game that every respectable arcade dumped 5 years ago, that's the place to go.
