Weekend in Review

On Saturday, we braved the Renton Fry's. This was the first Fry's that I've ever been to that didn't completely suck ass. Other than one douchebag in the Memory Department who argued with my wife about whether or not they had MMC cards higher than 64MB (despite one being on display in their cabinet). Other than that, everyone was super cool and they all spoke English.

In the video game department, they had this dope as fuck metal DDR platform. It was about 2" thick and even had a bar for raping. It was so good, I was able to FC Xenon Heavy about halfway through until Leslie dragged me away so we could look at hand mixers or something. I also went into sticker shock when I saw that it was $269 for that platform. It was great, but for $269 I'd rather just pony up the extra dollars and get a CobaltFlux or something.

Today I went to Illusionz. I brought the Canon Powershot and took a bunch of pictures which I'll mention after they are actually posted to my gallery (uploading right now). I got the shaft up the ass with Randoms today. I tried some Nonstop Randoms. First one, I get Vanity Angel as my first song (which I suck at), and then as my second song I get .. wait for it .. Max 300. Of course. I say fuck this and try another Nonstop Random. First song I get .. wait for it.. Afrofuckingnova. I manage to pass that and at that point I'm so tired I don't even feel like completing the course but I eventually do with no big surprises. Later I decide to try to play a couple games of doubles. I use random for my first song and get Paranoia Fucking Survivor Max. Yippee. I quickly relegate myself to Light status so I don't kill myself. Next song? 桜. Jeezus. God hates me. Other than that it was pretty cool. I played a bunch of In the Groove (more later on that). I met a cool guy from the DDR Global BBS and we chatted for a little bit before I went home.

I'm now trying to copy this big-ass stack of video tapes to my computer so I can burn them to DVD and get rid of a giant amount of crap in the form of ancient VHS tapes. Must get rid of the extraneous crap I have lying around. Must..
